I think its HAARP but its also a scientifically explicable thing pending further research which I'm too lazy to do, so I'll just put it down to HAARP or whatever.

So which do you actually think it is?

It's a roll cloud or as someone called it an arcus cloud. A rare sight alright.

Maybe the strange sounds we are hearing are the same ones the dinosaurs heard before they were all murdered.

It's called a roll cloud - a type of arcus cloud - and is an entirely natural phenomenon.

    HAARP

Because you're too lazy to follow up the other possibility?

These types of cloud formations have been seen in both northern and southern hemispheres. If we were to assume that HAARP's analyse of the ionosphere is able to influence certain weather patterns, would these not be localised to the region around HAARP itself?

    No of course not.
HAARP, like The Doctor's sonic screwdriver is capable of whatever is convient to the story. Just assume it's science magic and it always makes sense.

I personally don't subscribe to the HAARP weather altering hypothesis myself, but I'd find it interesting to discuss its plausibility. I'm also not too informed on why HAARP has become the one program which is constantly blamed for any apparently unusual weather or seismological activity.

However I'd still like to hear why nyarlothothep came to conclude that HAARP is the reason for these cloud formations and also why this would be a goal of the scientists there.

    HAARP
I think it's either science that I couldn't be arsed looking up, or druids. I'm going to say druids. :)

If you feel someone is trolling, report it. Otherwise, discuss the topic at hand or not at all. Comments like this are unnecessary.

Just my theory on why he posted the op, which was basically just a video with no discussion anyway. He trolls in a way which he can play dumb and claim its a legitimate post, or throws in some backhanded comment or subtle dig. Or at least that's what I've noticed.
I think its fairly clear from the thread that the cloud is natural

Sounds like a conspiracy theory to me...:)
