The Open University used to do one...Im not sure if they still do.
I am currently doing a psych degree with them and as I had a previous degree I was able to transfer some credits over. At the time, I could have done the conversion course, but to get a degree it only meant doing one extra module so I went with the degree as I was advised that outside of the UK and Ireland it would be more recognised that the conversion course.

thanks for your reply, yes, i knew about the OU one, but that has been discontinued.
to do the psychology degree part-time with OU would take me six years, (If i am reading the course info correctly). the Derby course is shorter. there is the option to exit after 8 modules with a Post Graduate Diploma which fulfils the criteria for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC).

I'm in the market for the same thing and have been looking at Derby too and would be signing up if it wasn't so expensive for non UK. They don't seem to do EU versus international fees, seems to be UK/Non UK. Drat...if you find a better option I'd love to know.

    Hiya,
I know this thread is dated, but just wondering if anyone has undertaken the online conversion course at Derby Uni. If so, were you satisfied and where do you hope to continue further studies? Has anyone undertaken this Msc or Hdip and utilised it to further your studies in Ireland. Any help or advice would be very welcome.

    Thanks a mill

I have an idea that this is not allowed - it has to be Eu vs non-EU. But I'm no expert. It might be worthwhile ringing them up to check.
