Heading off to Portugal with my sister at the end of the month to celbrate her 40th Birthday, which just happens to be the day we arrive.

Any recommendations for a special restaurant? It's going to be my shout!:)

I highly HIGHLY recommend Casa do Campo in Almancil, it's only about a 15-20 min drive from Vilamoura. The food there is just incredible. It is a really special place, the service is impeccable, the food divine, I couldn't recommend it enough. I would actually go back to Vilamoura just to go to that restaurant again!!! It is a little pricey but as it's a special occasion for your sister's 40th then it'll be well worth it.

Also a lot of celebrities go there, footballers, government ministers, etc. so if it's good enough for them ...!! :)
