    Yes? It had some mechanical fault, with pilots dumping fuel along the way during/after takeoff.

    A friend of mine in the US pointed out an interesting factoid that's not clear from that article - the pilots ejected way later than they were supposed to, to the point of borderling suicidal, to try and minimise the damage, and ended up only skimming the top floor. First thing the pilot said when they regained consciousness - "Sorry I hit your building"

    Indeed :) Luckily it seems most people ended up without serious injury, though the apartments still need to be checked through thoroughly.

    Yea, they did a pretty amazing job, leaving it right until the last few moments.
