i am using a laptop and im wondering is there anyway possible to stream movies to my gf's laptop via skype webcam or something.. so that i could play the movie on my laptop and we both could watch it at the same time?

Don't have your hopes too high, Skype Screen Sharing doesn't make for high quality video streaming. Better upload your video to some OCH and have the GF download it from there.
