BTEA/ Rent allowance and repeating college year

    I am currently on BTEA and rent allowance. However, next year I will have to repeat some modules in college. The problem lies in the fact that in order to keep up the BTEA/ Rent allowance, you have to be repeating the year in full doing every module.

    I found out that I can get Disability allowance for this year, however I definetly wouldn't be getting rent allowance. I was wondering how strictly monitered are they when it comes to repeating a year that isn't repeating the full year - and if it would be possible to keep up BTEA and rent allowance, even without repeating all of the modules without them finding this out?
