    Hi all,

Posting on behalf of a buddy. He is looking for a crossover for an ampeg and has had no luck off ampeg themselves.
A tech here in Limk was going to try and build one, but not sure if he is now.
Is there anywhere in the UK, EU, USA, where one could be sourced or made?
    Or anywhere else in Ireland?

Why is he doing this? The cab can not be used in stereo?

However if this is for multiple cab set up a simple PA cross over would sort you out.
Ampeg sell a range of heads that have built in x/overs in the, they do not sell separates.

I'm guessing it's the crossover in the cab for the horn.

Unless you re wire the cab this is not possible. Has this been done?

The horn is already xover at 5KHz and is controllable from a dial on the back of the cab. The inputs on the back are standard for power and daisy chaining etc so the cab would have to be modded to do what your looking to do.

If this is the case then a PA xover would sort you out. Range from dirt cheap to expensive.

Yup, have the back screwed off it for now, and not sure where to go from here...

Oh, so your trying to mode it.

I'm not sure what results your looking for by changing the frq xover of the horn. What's the thinking behind it?

    Perhaps it's stopped working?
