I'm looking for a running app that will do this (on iPhone)

Track my distance covered / route via gps.
Feedback to me once in a while with my current speed / average speed so far.
Feedback me to every mile or kilometre with the time for the previous mile.
Feedback being audio prompting rather than display on screen as I run with the iphone strapped to my arm.

Is there an app out there that will do this ?

    Thanks in advance !

I use the nike+gps app on iphone
I'm looking for a running app that will do this (on iPhone)

Track my distance covered / route via gps. Yes
Feedback to me once in a while with my current speed / average speed so far. Yes, you can set how often you want updates in terms of mintues or distance, it tells you distance & average pace
Feedback me to every mile or kilometre with the time for the previous mile. No, it gives you average pace
Feedback being audio prompting rather than display on screen as I run with the iphone strapped to my arm. yes, you can choose male or female "trainer"

You can also link it to your facebook so it posts on your profile when you set out. Anytime a friend likes or comments your status you get a cheer in your earphones, sounds daft but it is a little boost on a long run

Is there an app out there that will do this ?

    Thanks in advance !

Runmeter does the audio feedback. If you have the iPhone earphones pressing the button on the wire gives u the feedback whenever u want.

Runkeeper will do all bar your third point. Perhaps there is a way of getting it to do this too. Available in the app store for free at the min.

I not sure if it will have all those features but you could check out iMapMyRun on the iPhone. There's a paid and also a free version and it says on the app store what features are in it. I have it on my iPhone and was using it when my Garmin watch started acting up and not recording the distance.

    Endomodo should do them all.

adidas micoach will do all of the above. I found it better than runkeeper and endomondo.

Runkeeper started speaking at me when I was using it as an emergency replacement for my Garmin. Had to then run a bit faster to get away from the curious looks from the locals as I tried to figure out how to turn it off.

Ha! Me too. Man, it was loud too! I got a bit of a fright!

Thanks very much for the suggestions guys. I just had my first run with Endomodo. I found it perfect - giving the current time for the last mile, overall time so far and expected time to finish the pre programmed route I had put in. Very happy with it. :) Will give the others a try out too and see which one suits best.

    Thanks again.

You should be able to export your runs to a gps file and import them in. Try exporting and importing a couple of runs and see what you think. I much prefer this over the Garmin connect or any of the other ones :)

Thanks, I am stuck in to transferring as many as possible using
    http://eagerfeet.org/
A lot of my runs were pre gps, on my nike sportsband though...I tired the manual entry on app but there's no choice of year....I will see if there's a manual entry online.

Good luck with the transfer, it will be worth it in the end. :)
