go out nice and handy at the start, lot of uphill! The back part is great, one little hill and nice downhhill finish! Great race, did it last year and doing it again 2moro, there will be people of all levels at it, you will finish it no problem as long as you dont go out 2 hard! Enjoy!

Yeah, there's no reason why you shouldn't go and do it. There'll be plenty of people walking or slow jogging, so you won't be on your own. If you've a reasonable enough level of fitness like you say you do, it'll be fine. You never know, you might get a taste for it. Enjoy.

hope the race went well for you today! Great turnout for it and the half marathon! Perfect weather for it!over 1100 people in all. Have to say well done to all involved, they put the effort in. Usual food and a burger, cant beat it! Should have taken my own advice about going out too hard, but managed to hang on and finish in 41.20, very happy with it!

give it a lash! you should be grand to get through it as long as you don't try to go too fast. you'll love it and be planning your next one before you hit the showers
