Skewed front wheel

Got kissed by a car a couple of weeks back whilst out on the bike and today I noticed that the front wheel slightly catches the brakes when spinning it. I did go in to the car head on and took it to my LBS and they checked it and did a few tweaks. Do I need to bring it back or is there something I can do myself? Quick note - I'm new to cycling so this might be a really simple thing, I just wouldn't know!

A wheel out of true after an impact should be inspected closely. There could be broken spokes (though you should see them easily enough). Re-truing the wheel should sort it out.

I noticed the front wheel 'rattling' the other day. Thought it could be the spokes. On closer inspection, some spokes had come 'loose' and the small nut locking them in place against the actual wheel was loose. I managed to tighten them with my fingers but will bring it to my LBS for a look over.

Make sure you tell them the wheel was crashed. Those loose spokes should be alongside others under significant extra tension and might affect the wheel in future...
