I'm going to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand in July for a month. I have all accomodation and transport paid for so I'm just wondering about spends. Anyone that has been, how much would be a good amount to bring? Im talking for a reasonable amount of drinking, eating, some activities etc not so much shopping except for some souvenirs etc.... Would E1,500 be enough?

More than enough.. How did you pay for your accommodation already?

Thanks a lot - this is good to know...

The reason why I have accomodation booked already is because I booked a tour with Intrepid, like I'm not doing it independently.

I'm in Thailand right now and to give you an example I can get a breakfast for between 80 to 160bt (€2 - €4) depending on what you eat and the restaurant, similar prices for a simple dinner, you can live cheaply in Thailand and if you book independently you can great 4-5star quality hotels for under €45-€50/night if you want some luxury and I find that quite often the best and cheapest places are not online and you can get excellent hotels for +/- €20 night even cheaper if backpacking and staying in hostels etc, but for the money it is not worth staying in a hostel unless for the "cultural" experience.
