Leinster native, exiled to the "People's Republic" - Where to watch the match on Sat?

So, the thread title basically says it all: I'm a Leinster man but I live in Cork. I live very close to one of the commuter line train stations.

On Saturday evening, I'm planning on taking the train into the city to watch the Leinster Cardiff match.

Can anyone recommend a pub to watch it in?

Preferably one where I won't get called a 'langer' if I rock up in a Leinster jersey!

Ha I'm a Corkman living in Dublin, and I'll be at the Aviva! I most certainly get called a langer for going to the odd Leinster match, but what can you do? I love rugby and there's big matches on, just a hop on the dart away :)

As for the pub, the woolshed have opened a place in the mardyke, probably worth a look. If you're lucky any neutrals and Leinster fans will gravitate there

Friendly banter is all youl get. Depends where you coming from but Douglas is normally decent, Barry's or East Village. In town The Rob Roy used to be a good rugby pub, not so sure now

If i was you id go to Soho on grand parade, huge bar with a massive big screen and loads of good sized tv screens through out the bar so your guaranteed a good view of the match, really nice crowd too so wearing a leinster jersey should not cause you any hassle either

Last time I was in the Rob Roy was for a Rabo match. I think my table was the only one watching (along with a barmaid,) but it was still up on pretty much all the screens.

If you're willing to walk a bit out of town, Cissie Young's is usually a good spot for a match. There's always a crowd for the Munster matches, and they'll show anything you want if they have the channel.

Cissie Young's will be quiet on account f it being a weekend and students are n their month off.

Reardens go all out for rugby weekends, Costigans and Soho would be my shout.

Or Bob Fox's the pub that Munster players have an interest in by the courthouse, run by MOD's brother. They're all pretty close by to each other.

Went to Soho in the end; nice spot.

    Thanks for the replies, everyone.
