What exactly does a gp visit card cover. Is it just the trip to the doctor or does it include the medication fee also?

Just the doctor visit as far as I'm aware, you're on your own when it comes to prescriptions.

As mentioned the GP Card covers you for visits to your GP only.
Under the Drugs Payment Scheme, each family pays a maximum of €132 per month for prescriptions.

Does this cover dental or is it strictly GP visits? I'm fairly new to this, I know the full medical card covers dental but does the GP card?
