First time posting in farming but have been taking a look around and have seen plenty of good advice given out. Anyway we're looking at installing a new milking parlour to replace our 6 unit DeLaval herring bone which has been in since the early 80's. The old parlour is getting too small and slow for our Holsteins who average 2000g so were looking for something to improve comfort for humans and cows! we find DeLaval good for service but there agent is close to retiring and being in the North-West it's hard to know which company to go with. Any advice or experience with ACR, automation, feeding etc greatly appreciated.
