accommodation for 6weeks in lisbon?? help!

    morning all. so im headin in about 2 weeks and gonna be there for 6, i was up all night looking at all sorts of accommodation but nothing seems to suit this 'middle ground' period as short term rentals are from 3 mts onward

    hotels are too expensive, even hostels would be 13*7*6 and the one campsite suitable for someone without own transport is got a max stay of 4 weeks and is pricey too http://www.lisboacamping.com/camping-uk.htm

    so im just wondering if anyone has stayed in lisbon for around 6 weeks and if its possible to rent a room privately for that period or even if anyone knew of a agency or website where i can rent a room internationally

    crackin up a bit here, caffiened out ta balls after all niter, gonna have some beans on toast and release the pressure.

    sorry bout the long text. would really appreciate any help on this one.

    You could have a look at Couchsurfing

    Its usually for pretty short term stays but if you talk with a person that has availibilty they may not mind you staying for 6 weeks. you may want to discuss if you could give them some money as you would be staying longer. Otherwise you could spilt the 6 weeks up and stay with a couple of people.
