Where is the best place for custom fitting in the Cork area? I had a fitting for a driver in Fota a few years ago but wasn't happy with the result.

    Hi,
There have been a lot of topics on here around the whole custom fitting. See the Fore golf thread or do a search.
My opinion and i have had a good few fittings at this stage is, if you have an inconsistent swing it is hit and miss if you get what you need, the most anyone needs to do is get a pro and any of them should be able to do this to check what length and lie you need for irons. If you can find one with a Muzino swing DNA 3 swing of a club will give you 3 shaft options. Then pick a head that fits your eye and ability and buy where you like.
When buying a driver buy one where you can change the shaft as the heads are all pretty much the same but at some stage you can upgrade the shaft. I think all the big names have interchangeable shafts at this stage.
Low handicappers will get the benefit out of going to Fore golf for the majority any pro should do.
    Mike
