    I'm just wondering were is the best place in Dublin to buy these bikes, my girl friend is looking to get one on the bike to work.

    They're also a complete ripoff for what you get. They're very much a Chelsea brand with a Chelsea prices. lots of others do the same thing cheaper.

    I have to say I very much disagree, yes there are lots of bikes cheaper and similar but the finishing on them is nothing like a Pashley, paint jobs are shoddy, most I've seen have linier pull brake levers fitted which just don't work with hub brakes and then there's the B.B., headset, pedals, rims, tyres, saddle etc.

    All these bits add up and in my opinion it's worth it, a Pashley will last at least one life time with very little maintenance, the cheaper ones won't!

    OP, I was talking to a girl who bought one from Eurocycles, she got about 100 eurons off of the RRP and a hunded euro lock thrown in on the BTWS so might be worth a look there.
