I am in the market for a new bike thanks to some light fingered person who relieved me of my pride en joy. My budget wud be between 2500 and 3200, have called around to a few shops and the felt ar4 and the ar5 have caught my attention, tinking more the ar5 and upgrading the wheels.
Has anybody on here had an experiences with them???????

I have an AR4 great bike. No real complaints with it. All I'll say is that its fairly low down, more race orientated then leisure. Also not the best for windy days, but that could be just me.

Looking at the specs of this years models seems all that's different is the groupset and wheels so Id go with your idea of the AR5 with a wheel upgrade.

    This is my one.

Got the AR5 about a month ago - great bike. First carbon bike so can't really comment between differences. I put clip on aero bars for triathlon and they work great. Position a little bit more aggressive than normal road bikes due to seat post angle, but I've been on a couple of 100km spins and had no issues. Bike is probably more suited to someone doing a few races or triathlons than leisure cycling.

Go with the AR5, never worth the extra they charge to upgrade from 105 to ultegra in the AR4 - if you have money left over best spent on upgrade of the wheels.

Hi Guys, I'm in the market for a similarly priced road bike. Are there certain models I should avoid if I wanted a less aggressive position or can all road bikes be modified to suit? I recall reading in the forum that Scott & Felt bikes can be "harsh" so welcome people's feedback.
