I have a permanent mental disability but it is no way preventing me from working
I am fully entitled to it as well, also I don't have any qualifications for a job yet I am only in college but I was just curious

In that case id reckon you should go to Citizens Information and ask them, their usually very helpful :)

Surely if your condition does not prevent you from working ( or being in college ) then you should not be classed as ' disabled ' and thus getting the disability allowance

If you work over a certain number of hours you will lose your DA - only fair really if you have a full time job!

NO I have a serious mental disability called Aspergers syndrome which is a type of autism that prevents me from leading a normal lifestyle I am totally entitled to the disability allowance I receive otherwise I wouldn't have it so don't tell me I shouldn't be entitled to it you dumb ****.
You don't even know me and I didn't even specify what my condition was before
this response so for all you know I am in a wheel chair and I don't know if you've ever been near a college before but people who are badly disabled can still have a further education and get a job
You are one dumb mother ****er

    Mod Edit:

    user is perma-banned from work/jobs

I would normally move the thread, but I think this one is better off being locked.

I am a student with Aspergers myself and as far as I know once you are assigned disability allowance you can not claim job seekers. You can apply for Back to education, this is a once off payment of €500 to pay for books etc.
