    A bit later than usual I was turning over a new bed for brassicas. A few Nicola were forgotten in the ground last year so they had grown through the mild winter.
    I think these are the earliest earlies I have ever had!

    I only arrived back in the country on Paddys day, but I am very happy with them - only wish I had kept more but they were too good not to share with friends - last of them going into the pot as I write this, served with steak and asparagus
