I've started removing the tails of foxes i've shot by leaving the tail bone still intact to Charlie. Now I want to keep the tails. So what is the best way to preserve fox tails?

bit of white spirits through a straw/funnel into it is meant to do the job well.
Never done it, just heard it on here a few times.
Think tac made a video of it, but he's on a permanent holiday.

Pack some salt down the hollow of the tail where the bone was, this will draw out any fat from the skin preserving it, otherwise it will rot and draw flies.
