Can you get eurosports channel on any free to view box's? Or are they only available through SKY. They are the only TV channels I watch and I'm sick of paying for sky sports just for them. Can any one please help, sorry if this topic has been posted in another tread. Thanks for any help.

You need a Sky subscription to view them (on 28.2°E anyway - there is a free German version on Astra 1 but you'd need a different dish aimed at a different satellite for that)

Thanks byte,:D afraid someone would say I needed to hold on to my subscription with sky, only ever watch motorbike racing on it at the weekend.

In your first post you mention paying for sky sports. I presume that's a typo. You need the entertainment extra pack (€33pm) for Eurosports.

Moto GP is always FTA on BBC 2.
For WSB live FTA you will need Eurosport Deutschland,(as byte pointed out) so yes a multifeed dish or a second dish pointed at 19.2e. Set up my own multifeed last week and watched Sunday's Imola WSB FTA, live, very good too!
British Eurosport will need a Sky sub though:(
Real road racing (Irish Road Racing i.e. NW200 and UGP) is FTA (highlights only) on BBC 1 NI.
Isle of Man TT on ITV 4 FTA, again highlights, as it's near impossible to put out live any way.
If, like me, you love bikes, then a second dish/feed is esential to get Moto GP and WSB live.
Sport 1 (again German) is also FTA on 19.2e and they show extensive live qualifying and race coverage of every round of Moto GP and Moto 2 & 3. Audio is German but you are probably knowlegeable enough not to need the commentary anyway!
A second feed/dish and 2 way diseqc switch, with a Technomate FTA receiver, should work out cheaper than a year's Sky sub...
    Hope this helps.

As well as "excollier" 's help did you catch this from Mountjoy Mugger?

You dont need to pay for sky sports just to get eurosports, as Mountjoy Mugger points out only the entertainment extra package (way cheaper)

Not sure from your first post if these are the (i) only channels or (ii) only sports channels you watch,
if (i) lots of advantages to to ent extra above,
(ii) if only tv you watch is eurosport then excolliers points out the FTA options to catch sports they cover, but extra costs of extra dish, receiver, so if only for these sports maybe the system you have but cancel all sbscriptions and legal internet sites might be as cost effective.

Oh to have the disipline only to watch eurosport and not waste hours on discovery channels (and dave!!)
