    I'm just finished my 3rd year! :)
There are a few people in my year who have babies, some since they started and some before they started, so it can be done - depending on your resources obviously!
The course is lovely - you do 2x4 weeks placement 1st year, 3x4weeks placements 2nd year, 2x6weeks placement 3rd year and more or less a years placement in 4th year.
There's assignments more so than exams, and you have an academic adviser if you need help with them. You do physically ill adult, sociology, law, sciences, psychology, philosophy ehh.. can't think what else!
It's a lovely course if you have a natural interest in nursing and helping people, otherwise you might not stick it out!
Also if you do General nursing you get a placement in psychiatric and maternity wards aswell, just to see what us folk do (im psychiatric nursing)
