have a lad working for me, was on 3day week from march last year til mid january this year... then went to 4 day week, is going back to 3 day week this week, i pay his tax... he got a letter from rc this week that he owes €500 on the dole he got for the 3day week last year, do you pay tax on the dole ? when he told them he…

social welfare payments are technically taxable however he should have enough credits to cover it.
