Vasectomised hob ferret

I was due to borrow a friends newly vasectomised hob ferret to bring my jill out of season but it now appears the vet was a little too eager and castrated the ferret instead, against the specific instructions of the owner it seems.

So is there someone in the Cork area that would lend me a vacsectomised hob for a few days? He would be well looked after and I would be willing to pay a small fee if required. I know it's a big ask to loan out a ferret to someone you don't know but I thought I would give it a try.

Secondly, Does anyone know of a vet practice that has experience of ferrets, ie vasectomies, jill jabs etc in the Cork area?
