Can I record from Humax Freesat box to Video Recorder?

    And if so - How please?

    Could do with some help ins/outs of setting up the cabelling too if it's possible.

    The programme I want to tape is on BBC One HD but I know it won't come out on my tape in HD !! But how will it record or will I record it on the regular BBC One Channel?

    All help appreciated as haven't a clue about this.

    Yes you can just plug into scart socket. Same thing for DVD recorders.

    Plug the video recorder into the scart socket on the freesat box?

    Do I need to put the cable that's going direct to my into the back of the video recorder or how the heck do I set it up?

    Humax Foxsat HD is all that's on the front.

    You can record the programme in HD on the Humax and then output the recording to the video recorder by scart no problem. You can probably do it at time of actual recording if you've set a recording reminder on the Humax and then, if the cables are set up, you just press Rec on the VCR when it starts.

    Used to do it all the time with my DVD recorder. The VCR won't record in HD but you might as well be outputting the best quality source to it.

    You can record the programme in HD on the Humax

    It's not a PVR, it's a regular Humax HD box :confused:

    In that case, set it up as per page 17 of the user manual. If you don't have the original it can be downloaded.
