Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, just thought it was the appropriate forum.

I am looking to get an indoor exercise bike, but I'm not sure what the difference is between the different types, brands and quality.

My budget is €300, I have been looking at a few online, such as the Kettler Velo P and Giro S, but I really don't know if they are any good.

If anyone could point me in a direction to something good within my price range, or a guide to show me the differences, it would really help me out.

    Thanks,

    Patrick

why don't you just get a trainer and slot your bike into it?

I have one of these - Body Sculpture BC4620, set-up to same measurements as my bike.

Great for the dark evenings. No messing around with your bike, swapping back wheels or changing to turbo training rear tyre. She's pointed in front of the laptop ready to go 24-7. Throw on the bib shorts, a sufferfest dvd and off you go.

£210! Didn't realise they worked out cheaper than a good turbo! And here's me considering a turbo for the whole second half of my spin this afternoon....

    Hi Patrick,

I have a spin bike that I no longer use that I can sell to you for much less that €300! It's in my bro's house, I have since moved out and don't have the space in my new place, so I now use a turbo trainer. I bought it a few years back when a gym was closing down so the quality is very good, it works on the mass of the heavy rear disc and a resistance strap. All you need is a saddle and pedals.

If you want to collect it you can have it for €50 as I'm under pressure to find it a new home!

Will try to get some photos if you are interested.

    It's in D15
