Hey, just a quick question about sending/handing in your CV

Should I attach copies of my references to my CV, or leave it off, or should it make a difference?

    "References available on request"

    is all you need.

I generally leave them off but say "references available on request" unless explicitly requested to provide them in the CV.

    Sound, thanks

Is it any harm if I did attach them without being asked? [in previous applications]

I don't like the idea, unless your referees are waiting for a call any minute and know exactly about the job you're going for. You don't want them humming and hawing or being caught off guard. Or being rung without you knowing.
