    PC World have slashed the prices on their stock of PSU's

    Just picked up an Antec HCG 750W for €69.99, bargain at that price :D

    Great prices for good quality psu. If Antec has 500W means it realy can stand 500W load, in some models even bit more. I think its cheaper than uk prices.

    These are good PSUs in case anyone is wondering, much better than usual ones you'd see at this price that would destroy your PC. The HCG series is an especially good deal.

    I have to agree with you, the Antec HCG 750W is a great quality PSU and at €69 you can't go wrong as most online stores are currently selling it at over €100. Plus the thing is whisper quiet :)

    Thanks OP needed a lowish powered PSU and got the antec 450w for 29 instore in Limerick. They didn't have any HCG ones that i could see there though.

    Picked up a couple of the HCG's this lunchtime. The 520's & 750's were thin on the ground in Galway but maybe they have back room stock.

    Good find. Went into the one in Galway today and got the 550 for 34.99. They had a few of the 450, 550 models, and only the one 750w.

    Was tempted by the HCG but decided at half the price the 550w was enough for me.

    They had the HCG 520W when I was in there for €39.99 just beside the VP550P ATX PSU - 550W @ €34.99

    The HCG 520 comes with 6 SATA & 6 Molex but I think the 550W has less connectors? I hadf a quick look in Maplin while I was up there and they wanted something like €119 for a Q7 700W

    Thanks OP, Picked up a 750W in PC World Liffey Valley this morning only one on display it was showing at full price told the sales guy it was 69.99 on their website so he checked and it scanned through at that price!

    If you post the 6 digit product code you're after ( shouold be on the uk site if it's not on ours ) I can do a stock check. We don't hold too many of these generally so they may be a bit thin on the ground but I can have a look.

    I also picked up a HCG 750W yesterday in Galway. It was the last HGC I could see on the shelves at least. They still had a few of each of these

    Picked up the 520W HCG today in Mahon Point Cork, still had three 750W HCG left on the shelf
