    This is very interesting. It looks like a really good mass market safety device is on the way! The guys from www.epipemods.com have developed a device to fit in any mod that will turn unprotected batteries and mods into protected ones. It also ads extra protection to protected batteries. Basically if anything shorts it shuts the device down completely, see video its well worth a watch. (From about 7mins50sec onwards)

    It looks like we will have to wait a little bit longer though before they come on the mass market but I think it an excellent prospect for the future safety of Ecigs/mods.

    Yes anything that improves safety has to be welcomed and when ecigs are properly regulated that kind of device will have to be in all ecigs/mods.

    It may also help in the fight against idiots who call for ecigs to be banned and obviously it will also give us vapers peace of mind.
