Hello guys, I would like to ask a Question maby you know what the Problem is. I was playing at a Night game and I was running and my Pistol dropped on the Ground and the Mag fell out of the pistol too. Then I tried to shoot the Pistol and it wouldn't shoot. It could shoot once or just not even shoot, on Safety it could shoot Once or Twice or it Just Started shooting FULL Auto somehow(On Safety on or Off) without BBs shooting out...:(. Any Idea? I asked two guys and 1 said it's something wrong with the Safety and other said With Shooting Mechanism....? The inside of the Pistol is Looking not Damaged and the Outside too... So do you have any Idea what's wrong with it? Thank you. - Vlad - KJW M9A1 Co2 Pistol

the BB's not firing could be a mag problem have you got any other mags? I think the top part of the mag may have been damaged when it fell seeing you're saying it fell out of the pistol, if this plastic bit is broke, it may prevent BB's from going in to the barrel. the whole safety, thing I don't get as the way the safety's on those pistols work makes it pretty hard to by pass unless the mechanism inside the pistol itself broke.

This is hard to guess at without pictures. Does anything look different since you dropped it?

There is no Difference. It looks same. It would break if it be Plastic xD

hmm then the slide must not be cycling back the full way some of the time. the top of the mag isn't broke as it feeds, the insides of the pistol must be fine as it still fires so it must the slide. If the slide doesn't fly all the way back it won't let another BB into the pistol. What causes it however may be another thing altogether. you mention in your title that it's a CO2 pistol are both the mags you tried Co2?

My Other Mag is Green Gas and the CO2 mag was in it when it Fell. Yes the Slide doesn't go the Full way back, Sometimes it Goes all the way back or just half way. :/

hmm thought so.. I have two M9's ill take one apart and see what i can find out, my original thought was that the gas hasn't got the power to bring the slide all the way back if it was cold but you've tested it with the CO2 two and it does the same right?

Yes, it Does the same thing :/. Should I take apart the Safety/Cylinder? Or Bring to MIA?

If the pistol is still under warranty then take it back, although because you damaged it the warranty may be void (dont hold me to that), if so then pay for the repair.

Alternatively if you feel your comfortable with doing so, do it yourself, have a look on youtube there is bound to be dis assembly videos of the kjw to walk you through it. You have ruled out magazines so problem lies with trigger and hammer assembly or the loading nozzle, you may have knocked something small like a spring out of place which is causing the problem, or maybe damaged the plastic nozzle, any which way you should be able notice these quite easily!

well like mentioned if it's under warranty take it back, but try this first, take off the slide and turn it over, than pull the air nozzle forward and release it and se if it springs back on its own, try this a few times

Problem with the trigger and hammer assembly then id imagine..

Under the right side grip there is a spring that if it isint in its right place could explain some of your problems. It will probably pop out to you if you take the grip off. Be warned that it can be insanely awkward to get it back into place once you take off the grip (it was on mine anyway) and it might not even be the problem.

The one that looks like a mangled piece of wire :pac: Thats probably the right name for it.

Hey Guys, Here is a Video of the "Pistol not Working", It's me Shooting it. So it's a Better View of what is Wrong with it, Thanks :)

so it works without a mag, chambers a BB, cycles but doesn't actually eject the BB? also the thing i found strange was the fact that the CO2 mag didn't let you pull the trigger. it cycles with a gas mag?
is there anything I'm missing/got wrong?

one question, i could be speed of the video, i did try to rewind a few times but can't really see it. does the hammer look like it goes back far enough without the slide on? seems like it just kinda cmae back a tiny bit.

and one last thing with the gas mag, it could have been the weather but the hammer definitely wasn't cocking all the way back sometimes.

anything else you've figured out since?

    this is very strange

I think it's the Hammer Mechanism, The Thing that Hit's the Valve Is not Enough Power to Smash the Co2's Valve. And it Looks a Little Bent or Something :/

yeah another thing i was gona ask. there is a metal bit (think it's the one you were talking about) the one that hits the valve on the mag, it could be a problem with the springs and stuff. think i may have asked this before but were do you live/ skirmish?

It Looks like there is Not Enough Tension/Power for the Thing to Hit. I go to RedBarn, Going Tomorrow. You?

That's the valve knocker, they can get worn after a fair bit of usage same as all gbb parts eventually wear down. That being said when your hammer resets every time that you shoot this resets the valve knocker.

you could dismantle the hammer and trigger assembly and scrutinize every part for wear and tear, damaged springs and all that, particularly the hammer parts. You seen that the knocker is damaged but there might something else you missed, could be something small as a pin slightly out of place. Go CSI on its ass.

I honestly could not tell you dude i have a kjw M700 it came with an itemized exploded diagram of the rifle and all parts numbered so im assuming your pistol will have the same.

Go on to there website there bound to have a contact section, so drop them an email maybe with a link to your youtube video you put up with the problem.
