Lufthansa MD-11 at Shannon

A Lufty MD-11 just departed Shannon. GEC8367 on flightradar24 but it departed Sharjah then landed in Shannon now it's heading for Germany I think. Was this a diversion to Shannon due tech fault or planned?? strange routing, anyone have any ideas???
