    Hurrah.

One of my favourite indie games of recent years has an impending sequel. Big addition is that there will now be co-op orc dispensing.

Me and my mate booted it up the other night for some reason assuming that there was co-op. Many sad faces when we discovered otherwise.
    Should be a great addition:)

Picked the first game up in a steam sale and really loved it. Will definitely be picking this up on release this time.

Yep, came out 11th October according to steam. Still a great game and looking forward to the sequel.

Really enjoyed the first one, so will more than likely be looking for some random boardsie to play co-op with in this sequel :pac:

Yeah, it is the exact same as the first game. Haven't tried coop yet though.

Maybe one to wait for on a Steam sale...?

    co-op is great fun!
there are some differences to the original, the spellbook, new traps, more cheesy oneliners as well as the old ones :)

    well worth it!

Not going to bother with single player, but the multiplayer is fun:) I also like the mine carts a lot!

A lot of reviews were saying that it's just the first game with co-op added. It certainly isn't. There's a lot more depth to the upgrade system and the maps feel more loose. Their structure is less grid based making positioning traps more difficult/interesting. The range of powers is also deeper making it more fun.

The mine carts confused me. There was too much going on in the minimap at first.

Buying this tonight with a mate(save 2.50 each). Hopefully gonna get through at least a chunk of it given my work schedule.

First one was great. Some levels were too easy while others were way challenging(FUUU knoll hunters). Looks like this may be a lil more balanced. Hopefully my mate is decent so we dont do ****.

    Review when I've completed co-op :)

It's a cracking tower defence game, the best alongside toy soldiers imo.

Most certainly agree with all of this.

The character building is actually quite different too, by getting rid of the weavers and adding more depth to the weapon/trap/trinket levelling, they've essentially gone for a more Diablo style approach where you can specialise heavily in a particular style, give it a shot and if you don't like it just reset and try a different combo. Makes for a far more interesting game imo.

Nice one ED. Have you been playing any SP yet, or just co-op?

Completed wave one on all the endless maps for free skulls :P

We decided to play though together, more fun that way.
