    Give him a break! The talent has always been there, I wouldnt mind seeing odds on him medalling in Europeans..

    Last year he broke Carroll's 5k track record and that was a savage record. He also broke the national half marathon record, another savage run. Didn't even feature on the AAI awards and had his grant significantly cut. I know he has messed up in some champs but the guy is a class act when he is running well.

    Absolutely agree! No names now but he is a genuine medal hope esp compared with some of the higher grant recipients. If it was a computer game he'd win lots of medals!
