I am in receipt of rent allowance for myself and my child, our rental limit is 875p/m, I receive 171 in social welfare a week this includes FIS

I am looking for part time work at present of 20hours per week and the going rate for what I do is between 10/15euro an hour so would be earning between 200 and 300 per week

What I want to know is how much my rent allowance and social welfare would be hit (in particular rent allowance as I have no problem coming off welfare but would need the rent allowance to continue in some shape)

I know I am best going to the cwo to ask this but I dont want her thinking I am not taking jobs due to RA getting cut which unfortunately I am as I cannot afford to send baby to creche full time so as I can work full time, but really want to go back to work in some way just dont want to end up worse off than I am now which is a stuggle in itself, and I dont like or want to be on welfare.

OP what are you claiming at the moment? Is it just FIS? Or are you also claiming One Parent Family?

If you are claiming FIS, how much are you currently earning and receiving in just FIS?
Based on the info given above, it would not be possible to calculate what you are entitled to correctly.
