    Hi Everyone,

I just got a Sony A330 2nd hand & when I'm taking pictures it seems to have dots & curves on them ?!? I've only had it a few days & wondered if anyone knows what this is please, I've tried the cleaning mode but it didn't help

I've linked to a picture below, thanks in advance for any help

sensor. the mirror flips out of the way when taking the shot, so it can't be that, and blemishes in the lens would be *much* more out of focus.

If it was the lens you'd be able to see it just by looking at it

To try to clear some of the sensor dust up get a blower (not the brush type) and see if that helps

But it really looks like it needs a good clean, i did it myself before and made it worse! So ended up using these guys that did a great job on it.

Certainly looks like a lot of dust on your sensor. A rocket blower will help, but may not clear all the dust away.

Thank you magicbastarder & xshayx, so it's the sensor then

I think I'll go to camera repair centre as advised, I'd probably just make it a lot worse!

Thanks again for your help, much appreciated :)
