I took the question to mean "best food on campus"....

If indeed it's Limerick as a whole, then:

    Cedar House

    :)

big fan of the paddocks but occasionally flirt with sports bar as well, both have great quality food for price you pay

Scholars, they do great pizzas and burgers.

dont eat on campus much besides rolls from spar, but paddocks do a great full irish with tea and toast.
After matches we get lovely pizza/finger food in the scholars too.

I mainly eat in the Scholars / Java's but if I'm feeling the need of a treat, I'll head to Cafe Noir. Love their eclairs

best places on campus to eat are:

    Millstream restaurant
    Pavilion
    Eden
Cafe in irish world academy of dance
    paddocks

the rest are just places to get rolls/burgers/chips/beans so won't include them.

the best value for money is probably paddocks or eden

I'll vouch for Eden, had some decent pasta in there.

    Java's and Eden.

Eden can be cracking value depending on what they have on special; got bacon and cabbage there last year for 4 quid. Can-not-be-bate.

Pavillion is quite nice, though quite pricey....

They don't load up the food like javas do.

Javas and certain things from the stables.

Stables do the best hot chicken roll ever.

    East Room

Don't usually eat when I'm out because there's not really much of a selection in terms of cheaper food and I can't afford to be buying full meals every day. Scholars seem to do nice finger food though.

A group of us should go around a few restaurants and cafés and give our opinions on them, not really serious or anything, just a bit of fun and food :)

Main courses there for a fiver on Friday are the job.

I'd happily pay double for the cod if it was served up in town, and the wrap foldy things with beef are divine.

Three of us went to the Kemmy the other day and our food was all cold:(

The spar can be very hit and miss from my experience. chicken roles tasting like cardboard

The Scholars is definitely best for food. love their pizza and friday chips.

It's a shame there aren't cheaper healthy options. Cathal Ronan seems to want to change this though so we'll see what next year brings.

Definitely true. And the lack of consistency with breakfast rolls is worrying, one time you can get a lovely delicious one, another time everything's burnt to a crisp.

Used to be a vegetarian place in Dromroe. Closed last year though before I had the notion to try it.

Ciarans Cafe that would've been. The guy who owned/operated it (Ciaran) passed away recently enough I believe.

Oh, thats so sad. I didn't realise he passed.

Maurice in the Apprentice this year said in the final interviews that he used to manage/work the restaurant there - I think that was his father, but I could be mistaken.

    In reference to food;
Javas and Paddocks would be my choice but Stables can be good too sometimes, and you can't go wrong with the Deli in the Spar!
