Nat Type 3 to 2

    Hi there. Having a problem with my internet connection for online gaming.
    The NAT type is type 3 which doesnt allow me to play online on the playstation. Need to change it to at least 2.

    The Network is 3 mobile
    modem is Huawei E586

    Any answers anyone?

    In order to get nat type 2 you need to do 1 of the following:

    use a wired connection

    or

    configure your ps3 with a static ip address and place it into the DMZ on your router

    Gaming on a mobile network is prone to failure at the best of times. NAT is only one of the problems you face.

    DMZ is probably not an option on that modem anyway, and changing the NAT type is equally unlikely, as they're not designed for such purpose.
