Towel Heater with Geothermal heatint

    Hey all

Upstairs plumbing being done tomorrow on new build. Am looking to put in two towel heaters and was looking to tie this into my underfloor heating system which works off geothermal.

Was wondering if any body has this system in place. The crowd doing the geothermal and underfloor said I would get very little heat off the towel warmer this way which I understand but just wondering is it worth my while at all- I could just put in electric towel warmers or just normal towel rails.

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

Could you put it on a seperate circuit fed from the top of the thermal store at 50 degrees? rather than 36 degrees.

In this situation i usually ask , why not get electric towel rails for the amount of use they will get ?

IMO it simplifies things an awful lot as you keep all your heating at same temp then.
And for the amount of use they will get say max of 1 hr a day in the winter it saves time, effort , fittings etc.

also the towel rails can be flicked on when needed any time of year in your situation its the option i prefer.

Ya they are probably the two options I will look at- no real point having towel warmers that are not actually hot at all.

    Cheers for the feed back

You could use a Devimat electric underflor. Is the build well insulated and airtight with MHRV?

It is yes- and has a MHRV. What does this system require- going to look online now
