Upgraded to 12mb broadband..now phone line doesn't work!

    Hi there

    Was with UTV Internet on 3mb ADSL package until last month when we decided to upgrade to 12mb. After waiting two weeks they upgraded us to 8mb, so we queried why we weren't getting the full speed. Their tech responded saying our line wouldn't support 12mb, but looking at the noise margin and line attenutation stats on our router, they suggested otherwise. We finally got upgraded to 12mb last Friday but since then our phone line isn't working, so I'm just wondering what the problem could be>?
