I use Picnik to touch up and enhance photos sometimes, very basic edits like exposure, saturation, cropping, etc..

I noticed that the site is closing and will be gone in a few weeks time. Can anyone recommend a similar, easy to use photo editing website?

    I find http://pixlr.com/editor/ very handy.

Ribbet! have just announced that they are opening a photo editor that is almost identical to Picnik (built on the same platform). They are giving away a chance to win 1 of 100 free Ribbet Premium memberships if you request an invite on their site:

Alot of Picnik's editing tools are now available in Picasa. Just make sure you have the latest version of Picasa.

Some of the engineers from Picnik went off and set up their own alternative, its way better too:

    http://www.picmonkey.com

Definitely worth bookmarking. It has a Chrome etc plugin too so you click it and then it shows you a list of images you can then chose to start editing. Really handy!
