Imovie help

I'm trying to get some clips off imovie on my ipad! I had originally imported a few videos and edited them in imovie! I have acidentally eiped my ipad so the vids aren't in my photo library anymore! The clips show up in imovie however but i cant edit them as the original file is gone! But i can still play them in imovie!…
