My mate did this the last time he did this offer he found him very good but it's just for the beginner or high handicapper he said a low handicapper would get no benefit.

Cheers for your opinions lads.. I didn't get the deal as time ran out but might consider it if it comes up again as I'm a beginner looking to improve my game and lessons can be very expensive!!

As far as i know you could go every day of the week if you wanted as he had a couple of classes in Kinsealy and a couple in Lucan. Well worth it for a beginner.

I was wondering how it worked because it said on the ad a minimum of 3 lesson per week? And I'd be in need of a few lessons I'll kept a look out for that deal.. You wouldn't know of any other instructors as that deal might not come back up? I've looked on the net and they all say the same tour pro bla de bla..

my advice stay well clear.....anybody that knows him will say the same thing......hes half cracked......
too long n to may stories....

I don't think the deal includes golf balls which are around €5 for 50 €8 for 100. I think they're classes not lessons so you'll be in a big group not 1 on 1. So your probably going to spend €150 in a month on golf classes.
You could get at least 5 lessons from the pro of your choice at a time that suits you for that.
There was a golf course close to me advertising a fourball on groupon for €55 claiming it usually cost €320. Really it cost €80 so I would ring up one of the ranges and ask how much the classes cost to find out what your really saving.

that's great to know would prefer the one on one tutoring as I'm only a beginner and prob be way behind everybody else in the class plus I'd feel like I'm getting more out of a one on o e as I've had one lesson before and felt it done me the world of good.. Alto I did get alot out of the lesson I felt the pro was bull****ting saying how good I was for a beginner and then the auld you'D need a few more should I book u in Now!!!!

I got a load of lessons a few years back off a pro who was really good but then he started trying to pressure me into buying a new set of clubs off him which I didn't want. Stopped going to him as a result.

Purchased 3 golf lessons from a Groupon Deal with Kevin Beirth. I was very disappointed to discover that these lessons were in group and not a one to one. They all had to be used in the same week. I was not happy so I got a refund. This deal is a rip off and I would not recommend it.

I just had a lesson with Kevin, I got a half an hour deal from livingsocial.. He gave me a couple of decent tips about my swing but he just didnt want to be there, he was on his phone and in between taking shots he was asking me directions to a local area?? he also was slagging off my clubs saying they were crap, suppose he does know what he was talking about but he wasnt very professional. He has deals up every week on all the deal sites so hes bound to get a few people so hope this helps!

I rang him up and he gave me a lesson Saturday before last and found him to be helpful enough. Was hitting it more consistent and straighter. But I was spared the negative comments on my clubs as mine wouldn't be the most expensive/ best either.. As a matter of interest how much was the deal for? I got a half hour for 25 but had to pay for my own balls which brought the total to €31

I had 6 lessons with Kevin last year through Groupon. Instead of doing 6 individual 30 minutes lessons, I did 3 hour long lessons over the course of a few weeks. These were all 1-to-1 lessons. It was a bit of a drive from Stepaside to his range but I figured it would be worth it, though it didn't really work out like that.

He has a good setup, with all the video technology you could use, but as mentioned he hardly seems interested and spends quite a lot of time telling stories from his golfing past, or swinging the club himself. Despite recording my swing for 1 full hour, we never reviewed it on his screens and he charged me €10 for the DVD. He also charged me for the range balls.

I didn't improve one bit after the lessons, which was very disappointing. He may be ok for a beginner, but due to his lack of analysis and interest in my swing nothing positive came out of my time with him.

God dammit! I bought two of these "FATHERS DAY GIFT - 9 Hole Playing Lesson Including Green Fees with PGA Professional Kevin Beirth in North or South Dublin locations - An Amazing Gift for Golfers". I got one for me and one for my dad! After reading all this I don't want to go near him! I am a very methodical golfer and although I only play off 13 I am looking to really improve. I think this guy will be destructive if anything! God dammit I'm so angry, just emailed Dealrush there see can I get my money back!

Unlucky...tell him we are eagerly awaiting his 3rd post on boards if you avail!

    Hope you get money back

Got an email yesterday from DealRush saying they would issue me a refund and received it today! Brilliant service from DealRush!

Very disappointed with Mr Beirth, still have heard nothing from him, what a shocking business! Will be telling every golfer I know about this!
