Moving Back to Ireland

I have a question! I am moving back to ireland and I would be moving back in with my family, just for a while. My 1 Parent family had quite a good job. But when I was in Ireland before I got very little from Welfare because of the means test. Its very unfair as I pay for accomodation and Bills so its like renting but then Im unable to save or have any disposable income for transport or anything and i never ask for any money as its scummy. Just graduated. So a little annoyed since i worked really hard for it. Its vicious circle and I have student debts also.

    What can I do.

If you are under 25 it will again be means assessed. If there is no change in your parents' income you will probably get about the same. If you are over 25 your parents' income will not be taken into account.

If you have been away for more than 2 years, you may also run into problems with the residency rules. Were you abroad in a EU country?

you may also have to pass the habitual conditions seeing that you lived abroad.
