Poor start. 2-4 to 0-4. KK with the likes of Ruth and Rice are tearing the backs apart. Ryan is having a nightmare in goals.

    GAME OVER

    Sweet moses that's some scoreline.
I hate the fact that RTE only seem to care about Division 1 hurling and rarely have live scores from the divisions below in their live updates.

    They must've heard me :D
Meath 9 points to 6 up against Armagh in 2B. Winner goes through to face Kildare in the final. Kildare are probably playing a weakened team this weekend seeing as they're losing 12 points to 11 against Mayo.

Only 20 points between the evenly matched Kilkenny and Galway now

Good performance from Kilkenny this afternoon after last weeks poor showing. We can also give the subs a good run out. 45 minutes gone: KK 3-18 Galway 0-7.

Galway are on the way down I think. Thought they'd struggle anyway if they were sucked into a relegation playoff, but that defeat last weekend has really been a hammer blow for them, and Dublin will be a much more formidable outfit than they were today or when Galway beat them earlier on in the league.

    Division 1 Semi-finals:
    Kilkenny vs Clare/Limerick
    Cork vs Tipperary

    Division 1 Relegation play-off:
    Galway vs Dublin

Kilkenny should be too strong for Clare or Limerick. Cork vs Tipp seems like a coin toss based on how tightly matched those teams are at the moment.
Galway vs Dublin will be a massive game and will be very tight. Both teams put out understrength teams today in preparation for their relegation play-off.

Happy that Waterford avoided the relegation play off, but its awful organisation that now leaves them without a competitve game until 17th June and the first round of the championship.

6 team league is too few.

Nice of Clare to beat Offaly to allow Limerick into the 1B final. Should be a tight enough game, but Clare would have to be favourites, they've been the form team, Davy's really got them firing.

But Limerick's forwards seemed to be scoring nicely today- Dowling is a fine player. Downes is coming back from injury too and Conor Allis seems to have made the step up nicely. When Hannon is back from injury, we'll have a good forward line for the Championship.

I can see Clare beating Limerick handily enough.
KK v Clare - I'm sure the small fella would have them up for that. ( kk obviously though)
Tip v Cork - pure coin toss.
Galway v Dublin - the Dubs should pull through that I reckon.

Think Galway will bounce back against Dublin but wouldn't rule out another awful showing.
