what's the diiference in 800m /1500m for men and women.

for example if i can run 2.15.00 for 800m indoor, what should that relate to come outdoor season ? ... i know its going to differ somewhat.
but i just want the general / usual time bracket difference.
    4 seconds quicker maybe?

3-4 seconds would be my guess for a 2:15 runner.

David Gillick's outdoor best for 400 is 44.77, while his indoor best is 45.58 (off the top of my head), so there's around 0.8 of a difference there for a top 400m runner so 3-4 seconds would be a reasonable guess for a 2:15 800m runner.

For a standard 200m track I guess that's not far off. I assume that on the (?) 300m track at Magharafelt the difference would be smaller.

And if, say, there was a 400m indoor track then the times might even be faster due to the ideal climactic conditions.
