Sky Signal Strength Problem

    Hi Folks,

I have Sky in a number of rooms. 3 Sky subs, 1 HD & 2 Sky Plus Multiroom. In the other 2 rooms I have a sky box with UK FTA cards. These have both worked fine for ever. I did change them when neededa while back.

I recently had one of them plugged out for a while as I got some new presses in one of the bedrooms. Since I turned it back on I cannot get any signal strength. Quality is fine and lock is fine. Its an older Pace minibox.

It does seem to get a as far as picking up the channels but then says there is a technical fault, please try again later.

any one got any ideas? thx.

The Receiver or the feed from the LNB could be the problem. Try the Box on one of your other 'feeds' and at the same time try the 'know to be working' box on the 'faulty' one. Depending on what transpires you should be able to work out if the box is faulty or the LNB....
BTW, Skyboxes often seem to go 'faulty'
when 'plugged out' after working 'plugged in' for many years!!!
