    Nice :D

An interesting little car, especially as its variomatic, my brother had a light blue, Volvo 66 a few years back, which was a Daf really.

    Nice to see something different.

Would I be correct in thinking it would have been supplied new by Trux on Lavitts Quay.

    Nope :D

It was sold new by a dealer in Enfield in the UK, and imported under "transfer of residence" in 1979...

Well done chancing that journey in new purchase that old, hope you had another car traveling with you carrying tow rope!
Have learned from experience that it is better to trailer home a new (to me) car, and discover any faults on short journeys on home ground.
Has that car the variable belt drive transmission?
