Since turning on pc today google is not remembering my searches. If I typed boards before then typing bo.. would bring up boards and other words starting bo. It does not work today

I have Firefox 11 on a win 7 64 bit and also on a vista 32 bit. Note I mean my previous searches not google auto complete

EDIT It must be a google rather nthan firefox thing as i switched on an old xp laptop with FF 9 and it is not working on that now either

EDIT2Bing is showing all my previous searches so is google not firefox

    Tools-->Options-->Privacy-->Firefox will "what"

    What's "what" set at?

use custom settings for history. Tried with remember history too - will not work

Remember my browsing history is ticked too

Right click in the Google Box, is "show suggestions" ticked?

Tools-->Clear recent History-->Wipe everything. (This is what I'd do, may or may not work)

I discovered it is remembering my searches in the toolbar with google suggest turned off

I never used that before. But still my previous searches will not appear on the google main page. Must be a google thing

    i was using http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=0

so that i did not have to use the auto-complete and could pick from my previous saved searches but now those saved searches have gone (just in the last few days).

its a pain in the balls. google is turning bogus in my books. that auto complete is muck.

    anybody else got any ideas?

http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=0 is what i was using too and it is my saved searches that have gone yesterday. bing can pick up my previous saved searches and you can turn off the bing auto complete but i think you need to accept their cookie or it will go back to auto complete. May be wrong there

I do not seem to have the google toolbar on my vista

    How does one contact google?

Doesn't seem much on the web about it.

Try clearing out any google related cookies, see if that helps.
    (Or try a different browser/machine)

apparently now you do not need the/webhp?complete=0, google.com/ does not have google predictions on my pcs anyway. google.com redirects to google.ie for me

new searches are showing in the google toolbar, at least for me, but only starting from the ones i search now not all the previous ones

google.com/ie still uses predictive and i've lost my previous searches.

that predictive is very annoying............its basically another selling tool!

    Just the browser

    Run CCleaner aswell.
