Leaving aside the geo-blocking issues, what's the best device to watch RTE player, BBC player, etc and other online streaming services on a tv set?

Gotta be a PS3. Apart from the blu yay goodness, and the netflix stuff, if you DL an app called TWONKY or TVERSITY and install it on your PC / Lappy then all you need to do is point it to the folder where you store all your media, turn on your PS3, it will find your virtual server (if not you can tell it to search) and then you pick the folder out and viola you can see all the media you want to stream.

Very little lag issues (especially when I switched to Twonky, though my friend swears by Tversity) and an almost perfect stream.

*Both of these apps are available for free in...certan places on t'inernet ;)

My family use Apple TV, which is a pretty excellent device and lets you access Netflix.
